I could say that I’ve been tearing through piles of new releases. I could say that I’ve been taking in shows. Yeah. Nope.
I’ve been gnashing my teeth and fretting over the generally weak ass layout. So a screenshot of the first iteration and while there is plenty more to do it already feels better. One of the things we are looking forward to is leveraging the near infinite plugins for Wordpress that will let us really make the place more comfortable and functional.

I like the current logo! I think the popsicle / candied pop connection is kinda clever. I dig the font too. Meh, what do I know?
I like the logo as well but the problem is the color choices as it greatly limits the palette for giving the rest of the layout some substance. Most of the complaints have centered around the starkness with regards to the layout. Visually, there is nothing to drawn your eye in beyond the logo and ads.
Have no fear, though, I have several logo variations up my sleeve including a Popsicle.
/Oh, and yeah, on the beta that is the boilerplate font for the site name. That’s getting scrubbed for certain.
